Face at Cydonia and nearby crater To further test the above Face and Orion overlay, another overlay involving Sirius was made. We expect the star Sirius to fall somewhere interesting; i.e. on some feature, for the test to be successful. This picture was not taken from overhead. Though attempts were made to correct for this, the position of Sirius will be slightly off . . . though not off by much. You will note, the star SIRIUS falls on the lip of the crater.
